AI has become essential to my work, often reshaping my tasks and I cannot imagine how it won’t dramatically alter my career. While using AI has helped sustain my passion and dramatically improves my productivity for some tasks, I constantly grapple with its ethical implications, striving to use it responsibly and thoughtfully. My 15 years of prior software experience and my particular ways of working are what allow me to leverage it powerfully. Its rapid evolution continues to impact my industry and many others in profound and unpredictable ways.

Emotional/Spiritual evolution and GLPs

I'm also deeply reflective about spirituality, health, wellbeing, and emotional growth. After years of yo-yoing through countless eating strategies, fasting/deprivation regimens, exercise plans, mental health diagnoses to maintain vitality and address metabolic health risks, I've begun using semaglutide. This medication is uniquely altering my relationship with eating. I have a new sense of hope while simultaneously feeling fear, shame, relief, frustration, and gratitude. It's an overwhelming and profound experience. It also costs waaaaaay too much. My journaling on the topic might be worth sharing.
